These terms apply to your use of Racing Passport at myhorseracingpassport.com (the "site"). By using the site or creating an account you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
1. About us
The site is operated by Racing Passport, based in Ireland ("we", "us"). Contact: info@myhorseracingpassport.com.
2. What Racing Passport is
Racing Passport is a free tool for keeping a personal record of the racecourses in Great Britain and Ireland you have visited. It is for personal, non-commercial use and entertainment only.
We do not sell tickets, arrange travel or offer betting or gambling services of any kind.
3. Your account
- You must be 18 or over to create an account.
- Give accurate details, keep your password private and tell us if you think someone else has accessed your account. You're responsible for activity on your account.
- You can stop using the site at any time and ask us to delete your account by emailing us.
- We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or are used to misuse the site.
4. Using the site properly
You agree not to:
- use the site for anything unlawful, fraudulent or harmful;
- try to access other people's accounts or data, or interfere with the site's security or operation;
- scrape, copy or republish the site or its content in bulk, or use automated tools to access it, without our written permission;
- use the site to send spam or impersonate anyone.
5. Racecourses and third parties
Racing Passport is independent. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any racecourse, racing authority (including Horse Racing Ireland and the British Horseracing Authority), race sponsor or other organisation named on the site. Racecourse names, race names and other trade marks belong to their owners and are used only to identify the courses and events.
Your racecourse visits are your own arrangement. Any visit to a racecourse or event is made at your own choice and risk, and is a matter between you and the racecourse, event organiser, ticket seller or travel provider concerned. We are not responsible for fixtures, cancellations, abandonments, tickets, prices, admission, facilities, safety, travel, accommodation, or anything else that happens off this site. Always check details directly with the racecourse before you travel.
Links and partners. The site may link to, or tell you about, other websites and partner offers. We don't control them and aren't responsible for their content, products, services or privacy practices. Any dealings you have with a partner are between you and that partner.
Gambling. Racing Passport does not provide betting services. If you choose to bet, please gamble responsibly and only if you are of legal age. Free, confidential support is available from GamblingCare.ie in Ireland and GamCare (0808 8020 133) in the UK.
6. Accuracy of information
We work to keep the course list and details (including locations, race types and featured races) accurate, but they are provided for general interest only and may be incomplete, out of date or wrong. Courses open, close and change, and fixtures move. Don't rely on the site for travel, betting or any other decision — check with the racecourse or an official source. If you spot a mistake, please tell us and we'll correct it.
Maps use OpenStreetMap data and course locations are approximate.
7. Content and intellectual property
The site's design, text, code, logo and branding belong to us. You may use the site for your own personal use; you may share your own progress (for example using the "Share my card" button).
Course photos are used under free licences from their photographers — see "Photo credits" on the site. Those photos remain the property of their owners and are subject to their licences.
8. Availability
The site is provided free of charge and "as is". We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of it at any time, and we don't guarantee that it will always be available, uninterrupted or error-free, or that your data will never be lost. We recommend keeping your own record of anything that matters to you.
9. Our liability
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited or excluded by law, and nothing affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
Subject to that, and because the site is provided free of charge, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, the site or from relying on any information on it, including any loss connected with visiting a racecourse, travel, tickets, betting, or dealings with third parties or partners. Where we are liable, our total liability to you is limited to €100.
10. Privacy
How we handle your personal data, including optional marketing and partner sharing, is explained in our Privacy Policy.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We'll change the date at the top and, for significant changes, tell registered users by email or on the site. If you keep using the site after changes take effect, you accept the updated terms.
12. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, and the courts of Ireland have jurisdiction. If you live elsewhere in the EU or in the UK, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of your country and can bring proceedings there.
